Could it be third time lucky for a blockbuster showdown between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury? Well, according to reports, the fight between the American and Brit is a “done deal” and is set to take place on February 25th.
The pair find themselves in familiar territory, having already agreed to face one another twice before. Fury, younger brother of WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson, pulled out with an injury the first time and was unable to gain entry to the USA for the second.
There had been rumblings that Fury and Paul were close to agreeing to a lucrative bout earlier this week with SunSport claiming the fight could land in Saudi Arabia next month.

Adding more substance to the rumours, Prince Khalid, a Saudi royal heavily involved in boxing, posted on Instagram on Monday that a mystery fight was “signed, sealed and delivered.”
Reputable combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani has now appeared to confirm the rumours, tweeting on Tuesday afternoon: “Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury is a done deal for Feb. 25, per sources.”
Should the fight go ahead it will be a huge step forward for Paul with regards to answering his critics. The former YouTuber has fought six times as a professional, winning all six with four coming by way of knockout.
However, ‘The Problem Child’ is yet to face a genuine boxer, having so far fought a mixture of MMA fighters, former basketball players and fellow YouTubers. Not only is Fury an 8-0 professional boxer, but he’s also a similar age and weight to the man from Ohio.
At the weekend, KSI stopped FaZe Temperrr in a single round at the OVO Arena in London. KSI, another YouTuber-turned-boxer, beat Jake Paul’s older brother Logan by split decision in 2019 and the pair now seem on a collision course with each other.
KSI, in the aftermath of his weekend win, found himself alongside Derek Chisora and on the former heavyweight contender’s Instagram story, declared: “Jake Paul, I’m coming for you!”
Adding more fuel to the fire, Paul tweeted: “I love when KSI wins because it gives him more confidence for him to actually get in the ring with me.”
It would be yet another money-spinning event for Jake Paul, but before then it looks like Tommy ‘TNT’ Fury will be standing in the way and he’ll be hoping to pull the brakes on the American's winning streak.
