Manchester United returned to winning ways on Saturday afternoon after Jose Mourinho’s men conjured up a 4-1 win at home to rock-bottom Fulham, as the Red Devils recorded their first Premier League win in five matches dating back to 11th November.
Man Utd headed into the break 3-0 up thanks to goals from Ashley Young, Juan Mata, and that man Romelu Lukaku who bagged his first Old Trafford goal since March.
Fulham pulled one back with just over 20 minutes left on the clock, courtesy of a Aboubakar Kamara penalty, only for the visitors to instantly have André-Frank Zambo Anguissa sent off. Then, Marcus Rashford rounded off the entertainment by scoring a goal his performance fully deserved.
United fans were, unsurprisingly, full of praise for their side, with one player singled out in particular.
Step forward Diogo Dalot, the summer signing from Porto, who was making just his third Premier League appearance for Mourinho’s men, following the back-to-back 2-2 draws against Southampton and Arsenal.
