Manchester United Legend Backs Liverpool To Win The Premier League Ahead Of Huge Clash

One of Manchester United’s finest forwards, Andy Cole, has remarkably come out and backed Liverpool to win the Premier League, just days ahead of one of the biggest Premier League games of the season as the two rivals face off against each other once again.

Cole spoke to Bein Sports about the title run in, after Liverpool failed to score against Bayern Munich in a stale first leg. The former United man thinks Klopp has enough about him to push the Reds over the line and scoop that ever elusive Premier League trophy.

He said: “If you look at this Liverpool team now, it’s better than a lot of the Liverpool teams I played against.

“The way Klopp has got them playing football with the players he has, they’ll push Manchester City all the way to the end.

I’ve got this sneaky feeling they will win it, even though I’m an ex-Manchester United player and a fan. I just think this season they have got something that is going to get them over the line.”

Liverpool go into the weekend level on points with Manchester City but this game against United will be their game in hand over their title rivals, who take on Chelsea in the League Cup final on the same day.

If they can get anything away at Old Trafford which looks like a tough ask, the Reds would go back to the top of the table with just eleven games to play in the Premier League.
