Manchester United News: Premier League Club Make Huge Wage Offer To Juventus Defender

Finally, some good news for United fans as according to Italian publication Calciomercato a Premier League club, likely to be Manchester United has made contact with Alex Sandro’s representative and made a big wage offer.

The offer is thought to be in the region of 10 million euros which equates to around 192,000 euros per week, which is thought to be more than double what the Brazilian full-back is currently earning. United have been tracking the left-sided man for some time and although his current contract does not expire until June 2020, he is in line for a new deal and United are keen to throw their hat into the ring.

Juventus are keen to begin negotiations during the winter months but their wage scale is a little lopsided after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. Ignoring the Portuguese superstar, Paulo Dybala is their next highest earner on 7 million euros per year, so you can see that United’s wage offer to Sandro would be way above anything he could earn at Juve.

In fact, according to the report, Alex Sandro falls in the category of players who can only earn up to 4.5 million euros per year, making an exit to the Premier League more likely. Players such as Miralim Pjanic, Doulas Costa and Sami Khedira are all earning more than him as the Old Lady attempt to keep some sort of wage structure at the club.

United will be keen to take advantage of this situation and bring a top class left-back to Old Trafford.
