Manchester United Set To Lose David De Gea? 3 Possible Transfer Destinations For Brilliant Goalkeeper

Manchester United seem to be lurching from one saga to another at the moment both on and off the pitch and the future of David De Gea now looks likely to be the next issue.

The Spanish goalkeeper has been the one constant star at Old Trafford over the past five or six years but with his contract close to coming to an end, it now appears as if he could be ready to jump ship.

The former Ateltico man is yet to sign a new deal at the club, and with his current one ending next summer (there is an option to extend), it is likely that United are going to be in search of a new glove man.

But, what next for De Gea, if he does decide to leave?

The big clubs will be lining up for a player who has been amongst the very best in the business between the sticks and The Sportsman have come up with the three most likely destinations for the 27-year-old...

Juventus

The Bianconeri are always hand to grab a player on the cheap when their contract is running out and newspaper stories this week have heavily linked the Spaniard to Turin. The Old Lady have signed the talented Mattia Perin from Genoa recently but they will want a long term replacement for Gigi Buffon which makes a De Gea to Juve transfer a genuine possibility.

Real Madrid

De Gea is a Madrid man and could it be now time for time to finally make the move to the Bernabeu? Growing up at their cross town rivals is no problem and although Thibaut Courtois is now at Real, the Champions League winners have always coveted the United man and they will surely be keeping a close eye on the situation.

PSG

Any big name is always going to be linked to the French capital these days and the Ligue 1 champions may see De Gea as the latest man to employ. Buffon has arrived at the club for a short period to end his career alongside Areola who is decent, but neither are long term projects which could pave the way for a move for the want-away Old Trafford hero.
