Manchester United Target Scores Audacious Panenka In Serie A

Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi has produced the goods time and again when the chips have been down for his side and the Argentine has done so once more this evening.

His side were 75 minutes into a scoreless game against Udinese when being awarded a penalty and their skipper stepped up to take it.

Seemingly feeling no pressure whatsoever, the Inter number 9 sent an outrageous effort down the middle of the net to leave Udinese ‘keeper Juan Musso helpless. His men closed the game out and claimed a 1-0 win to keep them on the tails of league leaders Juventus.

Icardi scored the winner, too, in the Derby della Madonnina back in October, splitting the two sides with his late strike in another 1-0 victory.

The striker has endured a difficult relationship with some sections of the Inter support after various incidents, with the clubs’ ultras saying in the past that he “dead to them”.

The 25-year-old native of Rosario has been linked with a big-money move away from Milan in recent months, with Manchester United just one potential destination.

The former Sampdoria man has been linked with a switch to Real Madrid, too, but his agent has suggested on social media recently that he may be on the brink of inking a new deal that would have him stay in Italian football.

Wanda Nara, who is also his wife, has said that she is “reading over” the terms of a proposed renewal.

Have a look at this effort below.
