Manchester United are looking to bounce back from their shock mid-week Champions League exit at the hands of Sevilla when they take on Brighton in tonight's FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho has reacted to the stunning loss at the hands of Sevilla by unleashing several bizarre tirades in front of the press and he has rung the changes to his team this evening, with Alexis Sanchez the most high profile casualty as he has dropped to the bench following his insipid efforts on Tuesday night.
Sanchez has been named on the bench, alongside Paul Pogba, David de Gea, Marcus Rashford and Ashley Young. In their stead, Luke Shaw, Sergio Romero, Anthony Martial, Jese Lingard and Scott McTominay have all been named in the starting line-up.
As for Brighton, this is their first appearance in the last-eight of this great competition since 1986 and manager Chris Hughton will have to do without the suspended Anthony Knockaert following his sending off in the defeat against Everton last weekend. Dale Stephens and Gaetan Bong are both missing through injury.
Brighton have a poor record in fixtures against United, winning one, drawing five and losing eleven of their seventeen meetings overall, including a 1-0 loss when they last visited Old Trafford in the league earlier this season.
