Michael Bisping was floored by an almighty left hook from Kelvin Gastelum in Saturday's UFC event at the Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai, China.
Bisping, the former UFC Middlweight champion, had been looking to bounce back from his humbling defeat to Georges St-Pierre during UFC 217 but his hopes were dashed early on in Round 1 as Gastelum came out firing in Shanghai.
Gastelum was on the front foot from the off, landing a body kick, and they then exchanged a few blows before Gastelum launched a flurry of kicks upon the body of Bisping, who had no response.
A huge one-two combo ultimately ended the main event of the night as Gastelum celebrated wildly, while Bisping was left gasping for air for the second time in two fights.
What this means for Bisping's career is anyone's guess... A fight against a lower ranked fighter in London perhaps.
For now, Gastelum can celebrate a hugely impressive knockout victory.
Huuuuuuuge left hand from Kelvin Gastelum! 😱
