Muddy Cheltenham Festival Novice Hurdle Picture And Laurina Returns On The Jumps Racing Podcast
13:57, 09 Jan 2019

The Jumps Racing Podcast, in association with The Sportsman, is back this week with the lads assessing all of the key racing results from the weekend.

The road to the Cheltenham Festival has ramped up a notch of late with a host of star horses taking to the track and this week the team run the rule over Laurina, who finally made her seasonal debut at Sandown on Saturday.

The big question is asked...Is Laurina a potential Champion Hurdle winner?

Also this week, Sean Raymond and Chris Knight, our hosts, take a deeper look at how the Cheltenham Festival novice races are shaping up with the waters looking increasingly muddied as we enter 2019.

There is also the chance to look back on the last five-year-old to win the Champion Hurdle as the A-To-Z of jumps racing cult heroes series continues with the letter K, and this is certainly one not to be missed as they are joined by racing writer Steve Chambers.

As always, the podcast ends with a look ahead to this weekend with the Classic Chase card at Warwick coming under the microscope. There is also a brilliant Listed Chase at Kempton to look forward to with Top Notch and Charbel entered, and the Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle in Ireland on Sunday afternoon.

The Sportsman is proud to be sponsoring the best racing podcast on the market this season, especially with the Cheltenham Festival now just two months away so why not give the show a listen.
