There were incredible scenes over in Serie A on Sunday afternoon as Napoli snatched victory from the jaws of defeat after conjuring up a staggering last-gasp comeback at home to Chievo to keep their title hopes alive and kicking.
Napoli headed into the clash seven points adrift of league leaders Juventus, who beat basement club Benevento 4-2 the previous day, with Paulo Dybala bagging a hat-trick.
After a goalless first-half Napoli won a penalty five minutes after the break only for Stefano Sorrentino to deny Dries Mertens. Napoli’s luck then got worse as they fell behind in the 73rd minute as Chievo’s Mariusz Stepinski put the visitors ahead.
As the match ventured into the closing stages it looked for all the world that Napoli were heading for a damaging defeat which would all but end their chances of winning their first Scudetto since the 1989/90 campaign.
However, in truly remarkable fashion the hosts snatched an equaliser with only a minute of normal time remaining, with substitute Arkadiusz Milik nodding home to draw the Partenopei level.
But Maurizio Sarri's men weren’t quite finished yet.
With just 10 seconds left on the clock Napoli won a corner on the right. The ball was swept in, falling to the feet of Amadou Diawara. He took a touch then curled the ball brilliantly into the right hand side of the goal, sending the Stadio San Paolo into raptures.
The celebrations were simply stunning as Napoli grabbed the win to draw to within four points of Juventus with seven games remaining.

93' Napoli 2-1 Chievo.. Title race on!
