The biggest game of the season so far in the Championship takes place on Saturday as second-placed Norwich City travel to league leaders Leeds United in a game that will go a long way to deciding where the Championship title ends up in May.
The anticipation for this game is hotting up and Norwich have already added some spice to the fixture by sending, alongside ten other clubs, a letter to the Football League wanting full disclosure of Marcelo Bielsa’s ‘spying’ including dates times and payments made.
However, ahead of the big game, Farke was keen to separate himself from the Spygate saga:
"The letter sent to the EFL about the spying is not my topic. "It doesn't have any meaning for us. I'm not interested in what happens with that. But on the other hand, I totally understand why the club is asking the EFL for this information. They want to know why this behaviour is allowed or okay. I understand that."
Farke also gave his opposite number huge respect, as the two top managers in the division meet tomorrow evening:
“I'm full of respect for Marcelo Bielsa. He's doing a fantastic job. Every manager has their own methods but I'm just concentrated on my team, our style and our topics. We know everything about Leeds. We've analysed them, what style they play. Perhaps there are one or two questions marks, even after Bielsa naming the team two days ago."
What a finish! 👏
