Spurs fans have been loving the new images coming out from their new stadium today as 6,000 lucky season ticket holders were given the chance to explore what will be their new home (at some point in the near future.) Tottenham were of course expected to move into the New White Hart Lane at the start of this Premier League season but delays due to safety issues and building work has meant the club are now looking around February for their big move in day.
The fans did not seem to be too deterred on social media with of whole host of praise coming the club’s way as they explored the stadium.
David Grunwald climbed to the very top of the incredible South Stand and said: “Say what you want about the delays and the communication from #THFC, but Daniel Levy et al have created something undeniably magnificent. Never seen a football ground like it.”
Lilywhite Rose took a slightly different angle at the new stadium saying: “£4.00 a pint at #SpursNewStadium. We'll take that.”
Meanwhile, Pat Coughlan described things succinctly saying: “Simply Stunning!”
The invited fans got to explore a whole host of features at the new stadium and were thrilled to discover some of the small touches that make a new ground feel like home. One of those features was the plaque that marks the centre spot of the original White Hart Lane, as well as a row of old programmes and posters from the past, featuring some iconic Tottenham players.
