Harry Redknapp has emerged as an early favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle in the new series of "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!" But it's killing him not knowing how England got on against Croatia on Sunday!

The former Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Portsmouth boss may be one of the older members of the camp but he seems to be enjoying life in Australia and is getting on well with his camp-mates.

Asked what he was enjoying most about the first few days in the jungle, Harry was diplomatic. "Meeting some new people," he replied. "You know, the people I've been in camp with are just fantastic. There is a real mixture, a real different blend - I'm one of the oldest but we have all got on well together - I've loved every minute of it."

Redknapp regularly appears as a pundit on TV and he was asked how he was going to cope without football for a few weeks. "Very difficult," he said. "I wish I knew the result of England v Croatia - it was a big game for us and nobody will tell me the score. Hopefully we got the result we wanted.:

When interviewed before landing in Australia, he freely admitted that domesticity wasn't his strong point. "I'm not very practical," he conceded. "I'm ok emptying a toilet or collecting wood. I don't cook, I don't interfere because too many cooks can spoil the broth. Sair and Nick are great cooks - I'll let them get on with it."

There was also a surprise choice when Redknapp was asked which of his former players he'd like to join him in the jungle. He said: "That is a difficult one. I know Razor Ruddock has been in here but he'd be good fun. I might take Rio Ferdinand and see how he gets on - he's a good lad."
