Manchester United's Brazilian pair Fred and Andreas Perreira still have a future at the club according to interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The duo may have felt unlucky not to have been given a game at Fulham yesterday when Solskjaer made six changes to his team with the Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain around the corner.
But they have been reassured that there's a place for them at Old Trafford and chances will come.
Fred, a £52million signing for the club by former boss Jose Mourinho, has not played in the Premier League since December leading many to suggest that he wasn't part of Solskjaer's long-term plans.
"Fred is exactly like everyone else," stated Solskjaer. "You know he's going to be able to contribute and he will contribute, don't worry about that.
"We know there’s a very, very good player there with Fred so hopefully he’ll adjust to the English game because there’s no doubt there's talent, absolutely no doubt.
"It’s always difficult to come here. One: It’s Man United, you’re expected to perform straight away. Two: It’s an English league that he’s not used to.
"But he’s a Brazilian international, Andreas (Perreira) is a Brazilian international, the talent is there and when they get the chance the next time... it’s easier to come into a team that’s doing well."
United were comfortable 3-0 winners over Fulham on Saturday, a win which lifted them into the Premier League top four for the first time since August. After facing PSG this week, they take on Chelsea in the FA Cup before welcoming Liverpool to Old Trafford in the league.
