'Paul Pogba Looks Bang Average' Ex-Manchester United Midfielder Paul Ince Goes In

Strong words indeed...
Strong words indeed...

There’s no end of former Manchester United players who earn a living from giving their take on current goings-on at the club but some are more forthright than others with their views.

World Cup-winning midfielder Paul Pogba has been passed around between them countless times already, but now a new voice has dug out the Frenchman even more savagely than those that have come before him.

The 51-year-old pundit has described Pogba as being “bang average” of late, and isn’t even too fussed about him remaining at the club.

‘I can’t say I’m surprised to hear about the Paul Pogba rumours, suggesting he’s interested in leaving Old Trafford in January,’ the Inter Milan midfielder told Paddy Power.

‘He said recently that he was happy at Man United, but I didn’t believe any of that.

‘I believe a Pogba move away from United would suit both parties. If we’re being honest, he’s never settled on his return to the club.

‘He’s been inconsistent in his performances, going from world class to looking bang average.'

The travelling circus that surrounds Pogba, truly a footballer of the Instagram age, is damaging as well, according to the views of Ince.

‘There’s always been whispers and transfer talk surrounding him in that time. Some of those rumours have come from his camp, too. As long as he’s at United, there will be trouble and talk about him wanting to leave.

‘His personality is to stir up rumours – like getting in a picture with [Lionel] Messi recently.

‘He’s an attention seeker, he wants people to talk about him.’
