The Premier League has revealed the matches selected for television broadcast over the festive period when the English top-flight resumes following the conclusion of the World Cup in Qatar.

The 22nd World Cup concludes with the final on 18th December, with Premier League football returning on 26th December for the annual Boxing Day fixtures.

And the Premier League has announced that “special arrangements have been made to allow more time between matches played across the three festive match rounds. This will allow greater time for players to recover, with the rest period between Matchweeks 18 and 19 increased to ensure that no club play within 48 hours of another of their matches.”
