Ronald Koeman has spoken out for the first time since his sacking by Everton. In a statement he published on Twitter he states he is disappointed but wishes the team good luck in the future.
The Dutchman was sacked yesterday following Everton's 5-2 home defeat at the hands of Arsenal, with the Blues already on the hunt for his replacement. He left the Toffees with a win percentage of 41.38% but has only recorded two wins in his last 14 Premier League games.
He becomes the third Premier League manager to be sacked this season after Frank de Boer and Craig Shakespeare also lost their jobs.
Sean Dyche is the current favourite for the post with former player David Unsworth and ex-Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel also in contention.
Watford manager Marco Silva and big-name boss Carlo Ancelotti are slightly further back in the running.
