Mo Salah produced a sensational performance to demolish a sorry Bournemouth side in Saturday's early Premier League kick-off, as the Egyptian striker netted a hat-trick in an easy 4-0 Liverpool win to send them back to the top of the table.
Salah's three goals not only helped the Reds maintain their unbeaten start to the season, but it also launched Salah to the top of the goalscoring rankings in the Premier League alongside Arsenal frontman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who will be looking to return to an outright lead in the Gunners 3pm kick-off with Huddersfield Town.
The attacking pair have scored 10 goals in the Premier League season with Harry Kane a goal back on nine, while there's a whole host of players on eight goals with Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling two goals off the top along with Callum Wilson, who missed today's defeat against Liverpool.
Unsurprisingly, Salah's hat-trick has sent shock waves through the Golden Boot betting and having been 6/1 at the start of the day to retain his Golden Boot crown the Egyptian star is now around an 11/4 shot, but it's still the aforementioned Kane that tops the betting as he is a 5/2 chance with some firms ahead of Tottenham's evening clash with Leicester City.
Aubameyang, who has been tremendous for Arsenal all season is alongside Aguero at 4/1 with some firms, but the Manchester City star is set to miss the clash with Chelsea later today and he could be out for a while through injury.
Beyond that star quartet there's a chasm in the betting with Sterling and Eden Hazard next in at 20/1, so it looks like it could be a four-horse race for the top scoring crown, but Salah's hat-trick today has seen him become a real contender yet again.
