''That's Just Naughty'' - Liverpool Star Sends Twitter Into Meltdown With Sensational Backheeled Goal Against Watford

Liverpool were seemingly in cruise control during the first-half of their Premier League clash with Watford on Wednesday night and Sadio Mane had Reds fans purring with delight as he scored a stunning second goal.

The Senegalese international had already put the Reds ahead at Anfield and he doubled their lead with an audacious backheel to send Twitter users into meltdown.

That's just naughty [@20RoshanC]

It was pure filth from Mane as he made up for a dreadful first touch after receiving a cross in the box by backheeling into the net from around the penalty spot. It is well worth a watch to see the goal in all of its disgustingly tasty beauty. The video is further down the page but in the meantime let's read a few more of the Twitter reactions...

The amount of testicular fortitude required to pull this off is way off the scales. Mane is here [@MrNickMason]

Amen, Nick, Amen.

such a good recovery from a dodgy first touch [@KloseFC]

Others recognised the woeful first touch...

Mane, you didn’t have to do him like that. The man has a family... [@Chaitteaddict]

Some Twitter users couldn't believe the audacity of the man...

Just seen Mane's goal, absolutely unreal to bring the ball down like that and then the audacity to back heel it almost over the keeper into the net.. should've passed it to Salah.

That second goal showed both the worst and best of Mane. Awful first touch and then a sublime finish. [@JohnnyMRoss]

Not everyone could be pleased by the moment of magic though...

I love Mane but when you watch him closely you realise that he’s a flair player with zero technique on the ball [MuhithA16]

If that backheel doesn't bring you joy then maybe football isn't for you, Muhith. Enjoy the goal by clicking the 'Play' icon in the video below:
