The End Is In Sight - Desperate Tottenham Fans In Awe Of Latest Drone Footage Of New Stadium

Stunning new drone footage of Spurs' new stadium has emerged on YouTube which suggests the wait will be worth it for their long-suffering fans.

The construction of the multi-million pound venue has been beset by delays, meaning Spurs have played all their home games so far this season at Wembley Stadium. As yet, we still don't know when Harry Kane and Co will be able to step out at the new venue which will also be used for NFL games.

Fans have been excited by images of the new stadium which have been posted on Twitter in recent weeks and a video filmed by Sir Alan Sugar attracted thousands of likes on Twitter. The finishing touches are being applied to the exterior of the stadium with the golden cockerel looking imperious looking over the playing surface.

This latest video which has been uploaded to YouTube by 'Mr Av' gives you an aerial tour of the stadium and while we don't get a glimpse of the pitch, it's a fascinating watch.

Construction News recently produced a damning report on the goings-on in the North London building site, and some of the alleged revelations are startling - involving laziness, unprofessionalism, and even recreational drug-taking in working hours. Both Spurs and construction company Mace who are in charge of the construction of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have vehemently denied the scathing allegations.

A Tottenham spokesman said at the time: "We have always said that we would issue updates for test events and official opening as soon as we have confidence in our project managers' and contractors' ability to deliver against the revised scheduled of works. This remains the case and speculating on unsupported dates such as this is irresponsible."
