A video circulating around social media on Tuesday night has left Fantasy Premier League managers fearful. After scoring his 50th goal for Serbia in their 2-0 victory over Norway in the Uefa Nations League, Aleksandar Mitrovic was later seen hobbling with his right ankle excessively bandaged.
The Fulham forward has been on fire in the top flight this season, having six goals to his name already and proving to be a gem for FPL bosses. Seeing this distressing news, the 30.9% of managers who own him may be forced into an unwanted change ahead of Gameweek 9.

We take a look at some other key assets from FPL who are unlikely to feature for their respective clubs this weekend.
Liverpool could be without Andy Robertson as he suffered a knee injury before the international break which saw him miss out on the chance to play his part in Scotland’s promotion to Nations League A. It is doubtful that he will play this weekend, while his compatriot Nathan Patterson, who plays for rivals Everton, was stretchered off with a knee injury in Scotland’s victory over Ukraine last week. The Toffees look likely to be without goalkeeper Jordan Pickford which would be a massive blow for Frank Lampard’s side.
Despite returning to training, Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte appears set to sit out of the Manchester derby due to a lack of match fitness. With that in mind, things could change seeing as John Stones pulled up with a hamstring injury on England duty and it is highly unlikely he will feature on Sunday.
Newcastle United’s record signing Alexander Isak may be unavailable for Edde Howe’s side having had to withdraw from the Sweden squad ahead of the international break as a result of a leg injury. The Magpies could also still be without fellow attacker Allan Saint-Maximin, who has been out of action since August.
Aston Villa may have to do without midfielder Boubacar Kamara and defender Lucas Digne, with knee and ankle injuries respectively. Sources in France are suggesting that Kamara could be out of action for two months. Their right-back Matty Cash had been suffering a hamstring problem but it was hoped he might return after the latest international break.
Arsenal could be missing Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has a calf injury. He was ruled out of international duty with Ukraine and it is expected that he will not be involved in the Gunners squad in the North London derby this weekend. In west London, Chelsea look to be without midfielder N’Golo Kante as he continues to recover from a knee problem.
