It might not have been the competitive fight that we had hoped for against Alvarez but Triple G never fails to excite the fans and he once again proved why he is one of the most popular fighters of the last decade.
The Kazakh fighter unleashed a blurring combination of hand speed and power in the 2nd round to leave the unknown American seeing stars and heading back to the changing rooms for an early bath.
It was yet another sensational KO from Golovkin and attention now turns to his next fight. Will the rematch against Canelo happen later in the year or will Billy Jo Saunders finally get the fight he wants in a clash for all of the belts in the middleweight division?
