Livingston have been promoted to Scotland's top flight following a 3-1 aggregate win over Partick Thistle in the Premiership play-off final.
Livi won the second leg 1-0 at Partick on Saturday to secure their place back in the top division of Scottish Football for the first time since 2006.
The feat was made all the more impressive given Livingston were only promoted to the Championship last season, so that's back-to-back promotions for Livingston and their manager David Hopkin.
Hopkin intends to speak to the club this week about his future as he is out of contract this summer. The Livi board will be keen to snap him up having successfully guided the club to the top division for the first time in 12 years.
Hopkin is no stranger to play-off glory. The former Chelsea and Leeds midfielder scored the winning goal in the 1997 Championship play-off, with a 90th minute curler into the top corner for Crystal Palace versus Sheffield United.
The Scot, who played seven times for his country took over at Livingston following the departure of Mark Burchill in December 2015. Although he couldn't save the club from relegation into League One that season, successive promotions now see Livingston back with the big boys.
There were jubilant scenes at the final whistle, with Hopkin going to each member of his squad with congratulations. Now it's up to the Livingston board to ensure that Hopkin is the man to keep them in the Premiership next season!
They have defied the odds and achieved back-to-back promotions 👏
They're going up to the Scottish Premiership. What a story!
