The Most Boring Football Team In The World? Manchester United Fan Genuinely Falls Asleep During Dire Old Trafford Match

Manchester United under Jose Mourinho have been difficult to watch at times and an old video has resurfaced today after yet another dire performance.

The Old Trafford faithful were treated to another bore-fest as their expensively assembled team could only manage a 0-0 draw against relegation threatened Crystal Palace and it brought back memories of the time one man fell asleep at Old Trafford mid game

Some amazing footage has emerged on social media (@irishgaz75) of a fan in the crowd falling asleep during a match and it was apt again today.

The man in question was struggling to keep his eyes open before he finally gives in and settles in for a quick snooze - you couldn't write it!

It is another damning assessment of the football played at United under Mourinho with the club slipping further and further behind the likes of Liverpool and Man City, who both won in comfortable style away from home this afternoon.

The stalemate at home means that the Man United squad is now fully 14 points behind the Citizens and it is clearly going to be a tough slog if they are going to get anywhere near the top four places, let alone challenge for a trophy.

The former Chelsea manager had appeared to have saved his job over the past six weeks or so thanks to some better results but this point at home to a Palace team who are struggling was another huge step backwards for a club which continue to be in crisis both on and off the pitch.

When the fans start falling asleep in the stands, you know things are bad...
