Liverpool's stunning start to the Premier League campaign has been helped by the arrival of star goalkeeper Alisson Becker and the Braziilan shot-stopper can break a stunning record on Saturday afternoon if his Reds side avoid defeat to Bournemouth in the early kick-off.
Pushing his way into the starting line-up at the start of the season, Alisson has featured between the sticks in every single league game and the big-money summer signing has failed to taste defeat in the Premier League.
A midweek win over Burnley saw Alisson match Javier Mascherano's record of being unbeaten in his first 15 Premier League matches, which was a record made in 2007, so a victory or a draw for Liverpool in Saturday's 12:30pm kick-off will see Alisson surpass that number and he can notch his up his 16th game unbeaten in the league.
Klopp's men face a Bournemouth side at the Vitality Stadium that will be without star striker Callum Wilson, who misses the game through injury, so it's no surprise to see the Reds cut in the match betting and they will be warm favourites to leapfrog Manchester City at the top of the table before the Pep Guardiola's men face Chelsea at 5:30pm.
Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino both return for Liverpool, while James Milner will captain the side and make his 500th Premier League appearance, but there's no place in the starting XI for Trent Alexander-Arnold with Fabinho or the aforementioned Milner likely to take up the right-back berth.
But, all eyes will be on Alisson this afternoon as he looks to break an 11-year record and etch his name into the Liverpool record books.
