Hull Dockers' bid to become part of Betfred Challenge Cup history on Sunday will be screened live on The Sportsman this Sunday.
The National Conference League Division One outfit host Midlands Hurricanes, of Betfred League 1, at Hull Kingston Rovers' Craven Park home in their second-round fixture after seeing off Rhondda Outlaws with ease 54-10 in the first round.
Dockers have a number of players who will be on familiar ground at the home of the Super League Robins, with Chris Heil, Dave Scott, Matty Beharrell and Tom Whur all former Rovers youngsters. Meanwhile, they have a very familiar name in that part of the world in Paul Fletcher, who is the son of the Hull KR legend of the same name who racked up 464 games for the club between 1988 and 2005, making him the second-highest appearance maker in Rovers history.

The Hurricanes began their 2023 campaign with a convincing 40-6 victory over Cornwall last weekend live on The Sportsman, getting off to a flying start to put the game beyond doubt very early on. Macauley Hallett, another former Hull KR player, got them on the scoresheet in the first minute and they never looked back as they scored five tries in the first quarter of the game.
But they will be guarding against a potential upset this weekend as they travel to face a club two tiers below them in the amateur ranks, with kick-off at 2:45pm. Live and exclusive coverage will be available on The Sportsman and The Sportsman Rugby League on YouTube from 2:30pm.
