Manchester United fans were loving life after Jose Mourinho’s men recorded one of their best wins in years - or greatest European win ever if you believe Martin Keown - in an impressive comeback-from-behind 2-1 victory away to Juventus.
Two goals in the last five minutes saw the Red Devils snatch all three points in Turin, leaving Juventus absolutely shellshocked.
However, one Man Utd legend didn’t appear to be overly pleased. Instead of focusing on the positives of the remarkable result Paul Scholes - shock - took the opportunity to slam Mourinho, who had incurred the wrath of Juventus fans after he cupped his hand to his ear at the final whistle.
“It’s not necessary. This is everywhere he goes. You need to win with a bit of class,” said the BT Sport pundit.
"Shake the managers hand, go over and clap your fans. I don't think there's any need for it but that's the way he is.”
In fairness, many will agree with the iconic midfielder’s view on Mourinho’s antics.
But others will love that the “Old Mourinho” is showing signs of resurfacing following an incredibly difficult start to the season where he appeared to come agonisingly close to suffering the sack at Old Trafford.
However, it’s now three wins in a row for the Red Devils ahead of the eagerly anticipated first Manchester Derby of the season, which sees United travel to the Etihad on Sunday.
A fourth straight win will draw United to within six points of their fierce rivals, although a defeat would leave Mourinho’s men a whopping 12 points adrift.
He's enjoyed that one A LOT! 🤫
