Tony Bellew faces the scrap of a lifetime as he counts down to his Cruiserweight unification bout with the undefeated champion Oleksandr Usyk in the Manchester Arena later this month.
The scouse brawler is up against it according to all recorded wisdom and the bookmakers chalk him up as a 5/1 outsider in the bout.
But Bellew has overcome the odds before, including when downing David Haye in his last bout, and has released and has released a little teaser video to get fans ready for his latest uphill climb inside the ropes.
The video, brought out on his Twitter account, is an uplifting number made up of clips of his prior successes along with a few of his frankly terrifying (15-0) opponent.
That opponent will hope to build his profile as a possible opponent for Anthony Joshua by beating Tony Bellew, but the Englishman. has taken umbrage to that.
"People look at me as if they think I'm a good enough name for them to qualify to fight AJ," Bellew told Sky Sports. "I don't know how they think that, but they do.
"Oleksandr Usyk will not be the first, and he possibly won't be the last. Let's just see how it goes.
"Ultimately he has to go through me. Everyone has to go through me. Let's just see how that pans out."
Let’s see indeed! There’s still tickets available for the bout, and watching this will make you want to nab up some of the remaining ones.
