Top Five Dancing Football Managers

Top Five Dancing Football Managers
12:17, 26 Apr 2017

Now being a football manager is a stressful job and sometimes they need to let off a bit of steam. Some choose to do this through the medium of dance. We take a look at five of the recent managers caught busting a move or two and rate their dancing skill

5) Alan Pardew (Crystal Palace)

Pards has no excuse for this. He was not on holiday. He was not at a concert. He was at work. In an FA Cup final at Wembley. Jason Puncheon had just equalised and Pardew could not contain his excitement and inexplicably did this.

Let take another look at his moves.

8/10 for effort – 3/10 for execution

4) Simon Grayson (Preston)

Former Leeds and current Preston gaffer Simon Grayson is known for his stern exterior and no-nonsense managerial style. It also turns out he is a big fan of Kasabian and was caught busting his moves at a gig recently.

Fair play to him for this.

8/10 for effort – 6/10 for execution

3) Ian Holloway (Crystal Palace)

Ian Holloway had just led Crystal Palace to a vital 2-0 win at rivals Brighton in the Championship play-off semi-final. This was clearly a tense game for all involved and their lovable manager Ian Holloway celebrated in the dressing room afterwards by busting out some questionable moves.

7/10 for effort – 9/10 for execution

2) Sam Allardyce (Sunderland)

Future England manager Big Sam had just kept Sunderland in the Premier League and was off on his holidays to celebrate. Marbella was the destination of choice as he busted out some fist-pumping in a way that only Big Sam can.

A true classic.

5/10 for effort – 6/10 for execution

1) Roberto Martinez (Everton)

Topping our chart is Roberto Martinez. Given his Spanish heritage you may expect the Everton boss to be caught dancing in a salsa class rather than a Jason Derulo concert. But the now Belgium manager did not have any shame as he grinded his way through a series of surprising moves.

This one must be seen to be believed.

9/10 for effort – 9/10 for execution
