Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of forward Richarlison from Everton in a deal worth £60 million.
The Brazilian has signed a five-year-deal with the north London outfit and adds more depth and quality to Antonio Conte’s forward ranks. The 25-year-old spent the last four years with the Toffees, making 153 appearances and scoring 53 goals across all competitions. His other previous experience came with Watford, whom he spent a season with before a £40 million move to Goodison Park.

A versatile attacker, Richarlison can play across the frontline, but is notably most utilised through the middle or on the left. In two of his first three seasons on Merseyside he finished as the club’s joint-top scorer across all competitions while reaching double figures in three of his four seasons with the Toffees.
Richarlison is also a capped Brazilian international, making his debut in September 2018 against USA where he came off the bench in a 2-0 victory. He has since gone on to make 36 appearances for A Selecao, scoring 14 goals. He was part of the 2019 Copa America-winning squad, becoming the first Brazil side to win the tournament since 2007. He also tasted international success at the rescheduled 2020 Tokyo Olympics last summer as Brazil won gold and Richarlison finished as the tournament’s leading scorer with five goals.
He becomes Spurs’ fourth signing of the summer following, Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma and Fraser Forster.
