Brilliance is often needed to get Virat Kohli out, and Trent Boult produced a stunning one-handed catch to remove the Indian legend as the Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated the Dehli Daredevils in the Indian Premier League.

New Zealand star Boult is known around the world for his sensational left-hand swing bowling, but he showed his talents in the field on Saturday, as he leapt into the air to remove Kohli on 30, but a fine knock of 90 from AB De Villiers meant that Boult's heroics on the boundary ropes were in vain, as Kohli's RCB ran out comfortable winners.

Having moved smoothly to 30 runs, Kohli and De Villiers were cruising to victory at 92-2, but Harshal Patel served up a juicy half-volley on leg stump and Kohli flicked the ball on to the on-side, and it looked like was notching up his second six of the innings.

However, Boult, who was a couple of yards in from the boundary rope leapt into the air, and with one hand grasped the ball into his stomach, and falling just inside the rope, he turned around in dismay having held on to arguably one of the finest catches in IPL history, and Kohli was forced to vacate the field, and ponder what he had witnessed.

But, with South African De Villiers holding the fort for RCB he smoothly knocked off the runs with aplomb, and it was RCB that grabbed a much-needed win, and the Dehli Daredevils had to suffer a defeat.
