Twitter Explodes As Celtic Star Kieran Tierney Works His Magic Against RB Leipzig

Having watched arch-rivals Rangers 4-3 to Spartak Moscow earlier in the evening, Celtic fans were understandably buoyant on Thursday evening and they were basking in the reflected glow of Kieran Tierney's first-half performance against Red Bull Leipzig at Celtic Park.

Tierney put Celtic 1-0 up after just eleven minutes of their Europa League clash with Leipzig as he hammered the ball home from the edge of the area and the Bhoys fans - both in the stadium and at home on Twitter - erupted!

The goal came during a hugely impressive first-half from Celtic - it was arguably their best 45 minutes under Brendan Rodgers during what has been an inconsistent season so far - and the performance of Tierney again had pundits purring.

The left-sided star rammed home his first goal of the season to the delight of the fans and it is well worth watching the goal further down this page to fully appreciate the majesty of the strike from a player that is loved by the Celtic faithful.

Twitter embraced the latest piece of magic from Tierney...

Still reckon Tierney is too good for Celtic , needs to move to a bigger team like Robertson did and prove himself at a higher level! [@DM97___]
