Conor McGregor has confirmed his return to the UFC with a fight against hated rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The bout, which will take place at UFC 229, is already being talked about as one of the fights of the year and promotional video for the fight has broken the internet in predictable style.
McGregor, a two-weight world champion, is aiming to win back his old UFC Lightweight title which he was stripped of after failing to defend the strap.
Nurmagomedov succeeded the Irishman as the title holder and the fight between the current champion and the old hero is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas on October 6th.
McGregor was of course last seen in the boxing ring as he was well beaten by Floyd Mayweather but he is clearly eager to head back to the Octagon to regain what he believes is rightfully his.
The accompanying video sets up the fight in stunning circumstances as the biggest name in the sport takes on an undefeated world champion in what is already being described as one of the biggest fights in the history of the cage.
A out between these two rivals has been on the cards since UFC 223, when McGregor attacked a bus which contained Nurmagomedov. The incident saw the Irishman arrested and agreeing to a plea deal which involved taking anger management classes and community service.
There is clearly no love lost between the pair as this promotional video highlights in remarkable fashion.
This is going to be one hell of a fight!
