So Superbowl LIII…What you most excited about? Maroon 5’s half-time show? Nah thought not, it’s probably seeing the host of unrelated sport stars congregate in Atlanta ready for the Big Show and be snaffled for titbits about what the future holds, right?

Well, that’s what happened to WBC Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder in Georgia when the American pugilist was once again pressed as tp whether the cards show a rematch with England’s own Gypsy King Tyson Fury in the ring.

Back in December, the Bronze Bomber Wilder defended his belt against Fury in a controversial split-draw. Wilder at the time said that the two best heavyweights in the world had entered the ring that night in Los Angeles, and a rematch has been highly mooted since.

“Most definitely, it’s definitely going to happen again,” Wilder has now told talkSPORT’s Will Gavin and Olly Hunter, in footage available to view below.

“Unless Fury backs out of it, or anything of that sort of nature. But, to my understanding, as of right now everything is good.

“It’s looking like maybe Vegas, maybe Barclays Center in New York – who knows?

“It will definitely be back here, our pay-per-view prices are just way higher than over in the UK.

“You guys pay only like $25, but we can go from $50 to $100 easy and that’s with everything!

“We felt that the best way for both of us – we are all in agreement on this – that we can reap and benefit more rewards.”

So there we have it, straight from the horse’s mouth. As unified world heavyweight champions Joshua debates whether to go ahead with a schedule April bout whilst being taunted to face the music by both Wilder and Fury, we may be seeing a repeat of the most lucrative boxing match in 15 years in the near future.
