Wanderers Looking To Seal Promotion Back To The Championship

Bolton can secure promotion back to the Championship with a draw against Peterborough on Sunday at the Macron Stadium.

It has been a testing few weeks for Wanderers fans with a defeat at Oldham and a nail-biting draw against Bury delaying promotion and giving hope to Fleetwood Town.

Bolton won at Port Vale last Saturday to retain the second automatic promotion spot while the Cod Army enjoyed a stoppage time win at Gillingham to take the race to the final weekend. Uwe Rosler's men need to beat Port Vale who are scrapping to stay up.

Peterborough have already beaten Bolton in the league this season but they have little to play for as they are comfortably midtable. However, this is never a guarantee that they will be already thinking about their summer holidays and Bolton will need to be switched on.
