Wowzer! Ronnie O'Sullivan has just made his 900th career century, yes 900th!
You’re going to want to see this one.
It's a simply stunning statistic for the Englishman who is currently bidding to reach the Final of the Champion of Champions event in Coventry, following last month’s English Open success, which saw the superstar snooker player win his 29th ranking title.
But, let's get back to his Champion of Champions semi-final clash with Anthony Hamilton.
O’Sullivan, a five-time world champion, conjured up that magical milestone after he incredibly bagged his 900th century, then proceeded to burst into a 3-2 lead, having been two frames down.
Hamilton watched on the sidelines completely helpless, but with a flicker of admiration and awe too as O’Sullivan orchestrated an absolute masterclass in-front of him.
In the previous round The Rocket whitewashed defending champion, and old rival, John Higgins 6-0 on Thursday in what was a mesmerising performance.
In the aftermath of the one-sided encounter, which saw him record his 13th victory in 14 Champion of Champions showings, the 41-year-old told ITV4:
"It is a numpty-free zone in a way - you come in and you can get on the practice table and get a hotel room, and it's got one table."
Should O’Sullivan triumph in tonight’s (Friday) semi-final clash with Hamilton at the Ricoh Arena he will go on to face either former world champion Shaun Murphy or Luca Brecel in the grand Final.
The duo, who lock horns on Saturday night, are currently level at 5/6 in the betting to reach the showcase spectacle.
