''We Are Screwed When He Goes'' - Aston Villa Fans Go Into Social Media Meltdown With Star Striker Set To Join Wolves

Aston Villa fans have been reacting to the news that Tammy Abraham is set to leave the club this week and sign for Wolves on loan.

The speculation has been increasing in recent days about the in-form Villa striker leaving the Championship club and that does now appear to be happening with reports suggesting that he is on the verge of joining the Molineux club.

Abraham, who is still officially a Chelsea player, has been the key man for Dean Smith and Villa this season with 16 goals to his name so far and his impending departure has been met with panic among the fans on social media.

Villa are of course desperate to get back into the Premier League and their promotion chances appear to be about to take a major hit with the departure of their star striker.

Just shows how much Villa rely on Tammy Abraham. We are screwed when he goes & the defence is about as useful as a chocolate kettle..... - (@KevonMiller85)

if you wanna go & try your luck again in the prem , at least go to a decent team ffs , wolves ?? really ?? you think you will get the feed there like you do at the villa , look what happend when you went to swansea in the prem - (@pjhollis74)

Losing 3-0 to Swansea, losing Tammy Abraham, losing the will to live by the looks of it, won 1 in 7, Villa are falling apart n I’m here for it - (@_lilyvictoria)

Wolves fans, on the other hand, are clearly delighted with the incoming arrival with the lack of goals the major worry for them in their first season back in the top flight. Abraham would be an upgrade for the current Wolves squad and taking a player from one of their big midlands rivals is an added bonus.

Just shows the pulling power of Wolves, Villa biggest club in Midlands deluded fans we are now wait until the stadium plans come out make Villa Park a pothole Welcome Tammy Abraham - (@HodgeyDan)

Abraham is clearly a wanted player mid-way through the season and although it looks like just another loan deal on paper, this could be a move that has a major impact on two big rivals and also gives the young England froward another chance to show what he can do in the Premier League.
