Who Is Jarrell Miller? Anthony Joshua Set For ''Big Baby'' Fight In American Debut

The speculation over the next opponent for Anthony Joshua has been rife in recent weeks but it appears that could all be set to come to an end with the unified heavyweight champion of the world set to face Jarrell "Big Baby " Miller in June.

The Brit appears to have scrapped a potential fight at Wembley Stadium in April in favour of making his American debut in the summer against the dangerous Miller as he looks to continue his remarkable unbeaten record.

Joshua has already achieved plenty during his career but with Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder tied up with their likely rematch, a fight with Miller does make sense at this stage.

AJ will hope to stop the loudmouth American in front of the US fight fans before going on to face either Wilder or Fury for the final world title belt later in 2019 in a clash which would be one of the biggest in recent history.

Miller, 30, is no pushover and will certainly help sell the fight with the native New Yorker one of the loudest trash talkers in the sport at the moment. Known as "Big Baby", Miller is yet to taste defeat in 24 pro bouts and he certainly packs a punch with 20 of his wins coming by way of knock out.

The American hasn't got too may big names on his record although KO wins over Tomasz Adamek and Mariusz Wach are respectable names at world level. Miller will be shorter than Joshua at 6'4' but he will have considerable weight advantage of his British opponent with his most recent fight weight coming in at a hefty 315 pounds for his last fight, which is well over 22 stone.

Fight fans can expect Miller to shed plenty of weight before stepping into the ring AJ in June with the legendary Madison Square Garden set to be the most likely venue for the fight. The 2012 Olympic Champion will be eager to put on a big display in front of the American crowd and Miller looks the perfect opponent for him to do just that.

Joshua will need to be wary of his big punching opponent but with so much weight to carry Miller will surely run out of gas allowing the heavyweight champ to finish him in the middle rounds.

The heavyweight division has exploded with life over the past year thanks to Joshua, Fury and Wilder and it looks like we could be set for an explosive 2019 with the biggest fighters on the planet eager to cement their legacies.
