Former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is unlikely to manage in the Premier League, ruling out a move to Manchester United, according to his agent. Alain Migliaccio, who represents Zidane told Journal du Dimance:
"I don't think he'll go to England, it's not his style," Migliaccio explained. "I've spoken about it with him and the truth is that it doesn't attract him."
The man who first scouted Zidane as a young player, Guy Lancombe has also had his say: “He's on holiday mode,” he said, making it unlikely that Zidane will return to England anytime soon.
Jose Mourinho alleviate the pressure on his shoulders as United mustered up a spectacular 3-2 comeback over Newcastle, in front of an inspired Old Trafford crowd.
At 2-0 down at half-time, it looked like it would be Mourinho’s swansong at United, but the Red Devils mustered up a fantastic second half to keep him in a job for another week. Speculation is still rife that Mourinho will leave the club, with both The Sun and The Mirror claiming he is on his way out.
Zidane is still favourite to be the next Manchester United manager at 8/11, whilst other names such as Antonio Conte, Mauricio Pochettino and even Brendan Rodgers follow him in the betting. United fans will be hoping Mourinho can turn things around at the club and that this Newcastle game is the starting point for a fantastic comeback.
It looks unlikely that we will see Zidane in the Old Trafford dugout any time soon.
