This week’s NFL match-ups provide plenty of fruit for your combo bets.
Expect home wins for Minnesota against San Francisco, Denver over Seattle and Baltimore against Buffalo but there are some other interesting propositions. Away victors should include LA Rams, who will roll into Oakland and over the Raiders and Cowboys could emerge from Carolina with a W.
If you’re spread betting, Tampa Bay at New Orleans is intriguing. Tampa are 9.5 point underdogs but defenders Lavonte David, Kwon Alexander and Gerald McCoy are back, having missed half a season between them last year, while New Orleans will be missing their battering ram Mark Ingram, who’s suspended for the first four games.
If you’re looking for a straight-up upset, Pittsburgh at Cleveland could be for you. The Steelers have topped the AFC North the last three years, while the Browns have finished last. Mike Tomlin’s Pitt have been rocked by the holdout of the league’s best running back Le’Veon Bell and some public laundry airing this week. Cleveland’s defense meanwhile looked impressive in a shut out the Super Bowl champions in Week 3 of preseason (where traditionally teams play their starting units the most). They sacked Eagles quarterbacks seven times and intercepted two passes and could make Ben Roethlisberger’s night miserable.
