Branden Grace is one of the elite South African golfers currently playing on the European Tour. Born in Pretoria in 1988, Grace turned professional in 2007 on the Challenge Tour and then the Sunshine Tour the following season. He earned his European Tour card in 2009 and after a solid start, he has made the big breakthrough over the couple of years into the top 50 of the world rankings.
Grace won on the Sunshine Tour in 2010 but it was at the start of 2012 where the golfing world started to see the best of this South African. Grace won the Joburg Open and the Volvo Golf Champions events in consecutive weeks in January 2012 to really make a name for himself in Europe. He quickly followed those success up with another one at the Volvo China Open just three months later which took him towards that all important top 50 ranking.
A win in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship handed Grace more glory, and is now one of the most recognisable names in the golf, and he will endeavour to cement his name amongst some of the world's elite as his career continues.
