Bubba Watson burst onto the scene to become one of the most exciting and best players in the world. The left hander from Florida is not what you would call a conventional golfer but he is more than effective as he showed in 2012 when he won the US Masters at Augusta. That win gave him his first Major Championship win and in turn announced him as one of the best of the new breed of golfers out of America.
Watson is one of the longest off the tee in the game which has lead to him becoming one of the most popular players on tour. He is a firm favourite with the fans for his extravagant swing and crowd pleasing attitude and its fair to say that he has more than enough talent to back up that bravado.
Watson first burst onto the scene back in 2010 when he won the Travelers Championship in a play-off and its fair to say he hasn't looked back since. In 2011 we saw Watson win the Farmers and the Zurich Classic while he has also qualified with ease for the last two US Ryder Cup teams. He has been a main stay in the top ten of the world rankings for some time now and few would be surprised if he stayed there for the foreseeable future.
It was his Masters win in 2012 though which really brought Watson to the forefront of the game as held his nerve in a play-off to defeat Louis Oosthuizen. Two years later Watson won his second Green Jacket in 2014.
