Matteo Manassero is one of the brightest young stars currently on the tour and many believe that the young Italian is going right to the top of the game. Born in Verona, Manassero was a top class amateur before turning pro to much fanfare back in 2010. He quickly adapted to the pro ranks picking his first win on the European Tour less than six months later at the Castello Masters, which made him the youngest winner ever.
The biggest moment in the short career of Manassero came back in 2013 when he won the famous BMW PGA Championship which is the flagship event on the European tour. That was a remarkable win for a 21-year-old and it highlighted his potential in the game.
He has struggled to maintain those standards since that win and faces a fight to get back to the top of the game but there is no doubting the potential of this young man from Italy.
