Scott Piercy is an American golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and has recorded a number of victories on the professional circuit. Born in Las Vegas, Piercy turned professional back in 2001 with the majority of the early part of his career spent toiling away on the Nationwide Tour. He eventually worked his way up the system before earning enough money to play on the PGA Tour for the first time in 2009.
Piercy took to the PGA Tour like a duck to water with a number of top 20 finishes to his name during his first season. The man from Las Vegas finally entered the big time in 2011 when he won the Reno-Tahoe Open by one stroke to claim his maiden PGA Tour victory. He followed that up in 2012 when he won the Canadian Open to further enhance his growing reputation on tour.
He may not rank amongst the upper echelons of the top American golfers, but Piercy has become a solid professional on the International sphere, and will be hoping that he can record more success as his career continues.
