The Sportsman's Verdict
Kapga De Lily won a dramatic contest on her hurdling bow at Haydock in March when sent off 66/1 and the daughter of Kapgarde is the least exposed member of the field making her handicap debut. Newquay Cards is respected with potential improvement to come after a summer break, but the vote goes to HEAD LAD. Jonjo O'Neill Jr has proven himself to be more than capable in the saddle and his 6lb claim can be put to good use on his father's gelding.
