The Sportsman's Verdict
RHINESTONE looked the real deal when opening his account last December at Thurles, scoring by 19 lengths from the useful Sancta Simona, who has won three times since including a Grade 3 last time. Joseph O'Brien's Montjeu youngster went on to finish second in a Grade 2 bumper before not being disgraced when well fancied for the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival. Having been put away since, it would be no surprise to see him become a leading figure in this discipline this season. Stablemate Anywayyoulookatit has to be respected, while Classic Concorde was only beaten a neck on his stable debut for Andrew McNamara in a Down Royal bumper and could prove to be just as useful over hurdles. Point winners Empire Burleque and Envious Editor are others noted.
