The Sportsman's Verdict
Colour Contrast had Crazy Tornado back in third when finally shedding his maiden tag over course and distance, although he is 6lb worse off so the form isn't guaranteed to be confirmed. Even so, both may find CHAPLIN BAY too strong because Ruth Carr's charge has returned with a couple of solid third placings over this trip at Newcastle and is rated over a stone lower on this surface, which he is certainly no slouch on.
