Manchester United will welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford tonight as two of the most historic rivals in Premier League history meet once more. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s under-pressure side will be desperate for the three points as they chase Champions League football again and that all-important top-four finish, something that Arsenal are also targeting this campaign.

It has not been the finest start to the season for either side with Arsenal currently sitting in eighth position - although three points here would lift them to fourth - and Manchester United languishing in eleventh which has heaped on the tension for both sides ahead of tonight’s game.

Everyone knows the struggles Manchester United have been through since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson but a loss against Arsenal tonight would seriously compound the doom and gloom around Stretford. Arsenal have not won at Old Trafford for 13 years and may never have a better opportunity to do so, with United suffering from a whole host of injury issues.

Sat in amongst this long spell of poor results for the Gunners is one of the most embarrassing in the Premier League era. In August of 2011, they travelled to the home of the reigning champions looking to make their mark on the new Premier League campaign, which would end in Manchester City’s last gasp title win.

At the time Fergie did not have the best squad at his disposal, he managed to destroy a poor Arsenal side on paper, but one that would end the season in third. Ten goals in total, eight of them coming for the home side as Arsenal were handed their biggest away Premier League defeat ever. United fans would love a repeat of that scoreline tonight but the question is, can you remember the sides from that day?

Give it a shot below!
