Manchester United will travel to Norwich this weekend not just with three points on their mind but with the prospect of scoring their 2000th goal in the Premier League. It would be a massive milestone for the Red Devils to hit and unsurprisingly they will be the first team to do so in the English top-flight, having been the dominant force under Sir Alex Ferguson over two decades.
We have seen some simply phenomenal players pull on that famous red shirt over the years, from the goals of Rooney to the flair of Ronaldo, some of the best strikers in Premier League history have played at Old Trafford. We had Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke and Teddy Sheringham in the 1990s, along with current boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and of course who can forget the charismatic Frenchman himself, Eric Cantona.
In the noughties, we saw Ruud van Nistlerooy run riot along with Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez and Rooney later on. Less popular names such as Diego Forlan, Frederico Macheda and Giuseppe Rossi also contributed slightly less than those star names.
So how well can you remember these Manchester United goals?
