There has been plenty of speculation over the future of Tottenham Hotspur’s talismanic forward Harry Kane ahead of the summer transfer window, with a number of Europe’s biggest clubs on the hunt for England's all-time top scorer.
From a personal perspective, Kane has had a phenomenal spell at White Hart Lane since making his debut in 2011, becoming the top goalscorer in the club’s history and the second highest in the Premier League.
However, much has been made of the 29-year-old’s lack of trophies in north London, with many expecting the striker to eventually move to pastures new in a bid to add some sort of silverware to his as of yet empty cabinet.
Despite this, Kane, according to Betfred, could remain at Spurs with the bookmaker offering odds of 5/4 that he stays put heading into the new campaign. The Lilywhites’ biggest threat comes in the form of La Liga giants Real Madrid at 11/10, who have made their admiration for the Englishman clear heading into the window.
Manchester United have often been linked with Kane in past transfer windows. The Red Devils are in need of a proven goalscorer and the 5/1 on Kane playing at Old Trafford next season is mighty tempting. Elsewhere in the Premier League, Chelsea, Newcastle and previous suitors Man City all feature but at wider odds of 12/1, 33/1 and 66/1 respectively.
